Sol Rivero
Chair-Elect
​Sol (she/they) is a proud member of the HRL team at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities. She was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in NJ, and loves to live in the Twin-Cities, MN. They navigate and lead with Critical Theory and Intersectionality. They love to show others how to care for themselves/their communities and move through conflict and tough times. Sol spends the rest of her time working out in fitness classes and slowly learning to love the outdoors with her wife Jessica.
Sadie Carrillo
Operations Chair
Sadie (she/they) currently serves as a Residence Director at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. With a background in Social Work, Sadie is passionate about supporting people in all aspects of their lives, empowering others as they navigate life's beauties and challenges, and creating intentional and community focused spaces. In their free time, Sadie loves to craft, learn about witchy practices, go to concerts, and find random events around the Twin Cities.
Jordan W. Tarango
Chair
Jordan (he/him) currently serves as the Assistant Director of Residence Education at St. Olaf College. He is originally from Whittier, California and spends most of his time trying to help students figure out what it means to build strong communities and be good neighbors. Jordan spends the rest of his time looking at birds and coaching the St. Olaf Women's Rugby team.
Austin Korynta
Social Media Chair
Austin (he/him) currently serves as the Community Director for Tommie North Residence Hall at the University of St. Thomas. Austin has a passion for LGBTQ+ education and support practices, as well as helping young adults understand the transitional periods of their lives. Austin spends his free time playing the bass guitar, running, and is always on the quest for the next best meal in the Twin Cities.
Debbie Katona
Networking Chair
Debbie (She/Her) is a Resident Coordinator at St. Catherine University! Debbie’s mission in higher education is to encourage college students to change the world using all of their identities. Debbie enjoys creating brave spaces for students to grow in discourse and confidence. Debbie also enjoys diving deeper into her culture while advising the Indigenous Student Alliance at St. Kate’s. In her time away from campus Debbie coaches youth basketball, enjoys iced lavender oat milk lattes and watches too many movies with her AMC stubs pass.
